Encinal School

Encinal Means Excellence

Encinal means excellence in relationships, relevance and rigor. Encinal, a National Blue Ribbon School, provides an engaging and challenging learning environment where students actively acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes to be successful as learners and leaders in a changing, global society.

Our school is at a time of exciting transition.  This year marks the completion of our transition from a Grade 3-5 campus to a full K-5 school, with all grades now on campus!  Our Spanish Immersion program is growing as well, and we welcome a new class and new teachers on campus to expand the program to Kindergarteners through 2nd grade.  To accommodate all of our new students, existing buildings and grounds are now modernized and a new 4/5 complex and multi-purpose building will be finished and ready for school to start on August 24th.

For the latest on facilities development, visit the Menlo Park City School District (MPCSD) site here.

The Encinal Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is committed to providing a mulititude of programs that help make Encinal a stimulating and fun learning environment, a rewarding place to work, and an inviting place for parents.  These programs are possible because of the time, talent and financial resources of our community.  Please join the PTO and help us to continue to offer all these programs for our school.

Lastly, we are adopting a new website this year!  It is tentatively set to launch in early August....come back and look for it at www.encinalschool.com.
