Encinal School

Encinal Means Excellence

Encinal means excellence in relationships, relevance and rigor. Encinal, a National Blue Ribbon School, provides an engaging and challenging learning environment where students actively acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes to be successful as learners and leaders in a changing, global society.

Our school is at a time of exciting transition.  We will soon be expanding from a Grade 3-5 campus to a full K-5 school.  Our first class of kindergartners will join us for the 2008-2009 school year.  To accommodate our new students, existing buildings and grounds are being modernized and a new 4/5 complex and multi-purpose building will be built.

The Encinal Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is committed to providing a mulititude of programs that help make Encinal a stimulating and fun learning environment, a rewarding place to work, and an inviting place for parents.  These programs are possible because of the time, talent and financial resources of our community.  Please join the PTO and help us to continue to offer all these programs for our school.
